3 Healthy Habits

Being healthy can be tricky business: Whether its physically or mentally, when you’re insanely busy, it can be tough to stick to a routine. It’s easy to fall into pitfalls, but, knowledge is power—when you know the traps you’re most likely to fall into, it’s easier to steer clear.

And that’s how I try to stay healthy along with the following:-

30 Minutes To an Hour (Sometimes More) on Pinterest Every Other Day

You might be wondering how this counts as a healthy habit. Well, while I’m on Pinterest, I’ll be looking for healthy dishes I can incorporate in to my diet. So I’m always excited to try out different recipes, which limits my takeout intake. A good tip to remember is to focus on what you can eat rather than what you can’t. And that’s how I do it. All my pins are foods I can eat, even healthy desserts. You won’t come across a “chicken kiev” recipe on my boards!

Lemon Water Every Morning

This almost feels like a common and basic habit. But my day cannot start without a mug of hot water with lemon, ginger and a few drops of apple cider. Why apple cider? Because there are so many health benefits in apple cider vinegar. So every morning, I juice half a lemon and an inch of ginger, boil some water and add 2-3 drops of apple cider vinegar.

Physical Exercise

Though I may have fallen off on my gym attendance in the last month, it’s only because I’ve been too broke to pay my membership *howls*. You’ll realise that life gets just a little bit harder when your obligations override your habits. But this doesn’t change that working out is one of my healthy habits and I’ll be back to my gym routine in August (which is as good as tomorrow) 🙂
